About IntelliSpendLab
We test it. We think it through. Then we tell you exactly what we found.
Hi, I’m the person behind IntelliSpendLab.
I’m a full-time professional running this blog as a side project — and honestly, that’s exactly why I started it.
A few years ago I found myself spending hours researching before every purchase. Headphones, skincare, home gadgets, wellness products — I’d go deep into specs, Reddit threads, and YouTube reviews just to feel confident spending my money. At some point I realized: I’m already doing all this research anyway. I might as well make it useful for other people too.
That’s how IntelliSpendLab was born.
The name says it all — Intelligent + Spend + Lab. This is a place where purchases get tested, questioned, and broken down before you commit. Not a place to hype things up, but a lab where we figure out what’s actually worth your money.
Who this blog is for
IntelliSpendLab is built for people in their 20s and 30s who are thoughtful about how they spend — people who don’t mind paying for quality, but want to know exactly what they’re getting before they do.
You’re not looking for flashy lists. You want real breakdowns. You want to know the tradeoffs. You want someone to tell you when something isn’t worth buying just as much as when it is.
That’s the standard I hold every post to.
What we cover — and why
Tech is the core of this blog. Gadgets, audio gear, displays, smart home — these are the categories I follow closely and care about getting right. When I write a tech review, I go deep: specs, real-world use cases, who it’s actually for, and honest comparisons against the competition.
Health & Wellness is the other pillar. Sleep, fitness, gut health, recovery — these aren’t just trends to me. They’re areas where the wrong product is a waste of money and the right one can genuinely change your daily life. I research these with the same rigor I apply to tech.
Beauty and Living round out the site. I cover these with the same “is it actually worth it?” lens — focusing on products with real reviews, proven results, and honest value.
My approach
Every post on this site follows the same principles:
Research before recommendations. I don’t publish a list just because something is trending. I dig into what real users say, what experts recommend, and what the data actually shows.
Honest tradeoffs. If something is great for one person and wrong for another, I’ll tell you both. You’ll always find a “who should skip this” section in my reviews.
No fluff. I’m a busy person writing this around a full-time job. I respect that your time is limited too. Every post is built to give you what you need and nothing you don’t.
A note on affiliate links
Some posts on this site contain Amazon affiliate links. If you click and buy, I earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. This is how I keep the blog running.
That said: I only link to products I’d genuinely recommend. Affiliate links never influence what I cover or how I rate something. If a product isn’t worth buying, I’ll say so — even if there’s a commission involved.
Get in touch
Have a product you want me to cover? A question about something I’ve reviewed? A category you wish I wrote about more?
I’d genuinely love to hear from you. This blog gets better when real people tell me what they actually need.
